Unlike your Division Representatives (Division Reps) and Board of Governors (BOG), your Handicap Advisory Committee (HAC) should consist of the higher skilled players in your League. What your HAC will need to have in common with your Division Reps and BOG is the utmost integrity, as you will require both their unbiased opinions and discretion at all times. The identity of your HAC members may be known or kept confidential. We recommend their identity be kept confidential so you may better utilize them to watch matches without players knowing they are reporting to you what they observe.
No one but you can actually see or hear information that explains how The Equalizerâ handicap system works. HAC members cannot view player records. The information you may discuss with your HAC is information specific to a player under review, such as how many times he shot a score higher than his skill level, how many players he beat that are a higher skill level, what his win percentage is, and patterns in his weekly League activity.
